Established in 1988, the Optimist International Foundation of Canada is a Canadian Registered Charity. It serves exclusively Canadian Optimist members’ interests. All monies collected in Canada stay in Canada, and are redistributed for funding notably programs, JOOI scholarships, international contests scholarships from Optimist International and trainings offered to volunteers.
Contributions given to OIFC are tax deductible within the full extent allowed by Federal and Provincial Tax legislation.
Optimist International Foundation of Canada’s mission is to provide educational opportunities and charitable assistance for boys and girls involved in Optimist programs.
